This week was kinda boring from your perspective. For me it´s spiritually out of the roof, but kinda boring for you guys. I had class for six to seven hours a day this week. In most of them I was teaching lessons. So instead of telling you all about my boring week I´ll start out by comparing the CCM to Monsters INC:
It´s all about learning how to teach someone the gospel, like scaring. I´m scared to come into contact with any girl no matter how big or how small. We have simulators that show us how good we are at teaching, and basically our only job is teaching the gospel. There are even more comparisons.
Well this week was fantastic we have been teaching the Gospel to our mock investigators Kathleen and Matias. Every lesson is in Spanish so that can be hard at times, but the language comes more and more each day. This week we had to say goodbye to all of the avensaros which was sad, but at least they get to leave this place. I will miss some of them, and be glad that most of them are gone! Elder Hosch left in that group and since he was the one who came and talked to us at night, I´ll have nothing to do for the next couple weeks. The CCM is actually starting to grow on me! It´s hard, but I know that It´s so worth it and that this is where heavenly father wants me to be.
I love the grounds crew here at the CCM. I got to help the Gardiner groom some tall plants since he was about 5´4 and I´m a little taller than that! I love talking to all of them and I can understand most of what they say and that is a miracle. Mostly because there Spanish is not cleanly spoken.
Elder Babbel and I have been getting along and I´m looking forward to our next lesson. Please pray for Elder Babbel´s ankle. We MAY or may not have collided in soccer... He´s completely fine, but it´s still bugging him a little, so please keep him in your prayers. Thank you so much for all of your prayers for me and the missionaries around the world. I promise you we all feel them.
It´s been a wonderful week, but other than working hard on the language there´s nothing much that happened.
Today was by far the most interesting day and we went to the temple, one of my favorite things in the world. Then we went to tottus again. Bought three dollars in groceries and we went home. But our bus left us so we had to hop on the smallest public bus ever. Let´s just say it was crammed full my chin was touching my chest and I was slouched over. Pretty exciting, plus every bus ride is like riding the Indiana Jones ride at DISNEYLAND. But it´s even more fun because there´s cars zoomin past in all directions.
Let me just say I´m grateful for you all and I think of all of you guys on my P days and before I go to bed. Your AMAZING! You better remember that. I hope you guys can all have the blast that I´m having! OH, just remember to make everything more happy in your lives ´it´s your choice KEATON!´ -My mom
Well I´ll have about an hour to respond to your guys emails so bring um in!
PS, I say Elder(JOSH) Robertson here at the CCM today! He is a friend from MV so that was pretty darn exciting. Love you all, be safe in the UNITED STATES. Peru is way better you guys should live down here. Hasta Lluego!
