Noche de Milagros

Amigos y Familia. It was a crazy week with a lot of miracles, but I think that I had a lot of miracles Saturday night.
One: María Abanto was baptized. Her son baptized her and the whole family came and felt the spirit so strongly. We had the help of so many members to be there and support María. She bore a beautiful testimony and she was confirmed Sunday morning.
Two: A less active mom brought her daughter and son who were preparing to be baptized, and well they were able to be interviewd by our district leader and baptized the following day. Our branch President Licera helped us out to be able to figure out that baptism.
Three: One of the young men Daniel Alamo, looked at us and put his date for the third. We had to bump it back a week, because they´ll be leaving guadalupe for the weekend. But They´ll be back so the tenth he can be baptized. And his mom told us that she would give permission.
Four: Jesus Flores was so impacted by the baptism that he has told us that he wants to be baptized. He has goals and is getting ready for his baptism. We will be seeing how affected Maribel is and if it was enough to help her overcome her fears.
It was one of the craziest nights that I´ve had on the mission. And it looks like we´re gaining more and more momentum in guadalupe. I know that if we have faith in God that he can do all things. He truly loves us and wants to help us, but he can only help us if we have faith in him. Love you all so much and I hope that you have a great week.

Craziness!

Hola! Y ALOHA! Queridos amigos y familiares ;)
I´m doing great this week learning a lot from the mission life. This week, María Abanto confirmed that her date would be for this saturday! ;) And she´s now preparing and she´s so excited. It´ll be something so amazing!
We entered into the house of hermana Maribel and Luis. We´ve been fighting to see if she could accept the message, and she´s been having problems with baptism, but she´s starting to come out and she looked a lot more ready. We began to talk with her and she told us that she wanted to be baptized but that maybe it wasn´t her time yet. She´s still a little scared to fail the Lord after making the decision to be baptized. Her husband Luis was able to give her a blessing in which he asked that God would bless her to be his eternal companion and with the courage to be baptized. She felt super amazing and still didn´t feel comfortable setting a date, but she decided to continue praying and told us soon! They told us probably this June.
Daniel Alamo also wants to be baptized and we told him that he should prepare for the 3rd of June. He´s going to semenary and doing a lot of other things. The only problem are his parents. If we can get his parents to agree, everything will go smoothly!
I have been so blessed this week. I know that God really always lifts us up and keeps us going even when we don´t think that we have the strength. He is our Father in Heaven and if we look to Him in every act, we can´t go wrong. Love all of you so much, and I hope you all have such an amazing week!

I know that it´s really possible to do all things. It´s been a strong testimony to know that through each trial we become stronger. I heard the story of a small boy who was commanded by his father to push a rock all day and all night for all of his life. He spent his time trying and trying but it didn´t budge. After 18 years of pushing he decided to go ask his father what was this crazy thing that he had asked him. He complained that he hadn´t had many friends, that he had lost many of the comforts of life and the king looked at him and said, just look at yourselt. That young boy had become strong, and was now ready to take on the world. He left that day knowing all would be ok. I know that life is really just like that. Heavenly Father gives us big challenges and as we over come them all is well.

Miracles!

Hola, mis queridos amigos, padres, y hermanos! ;)
I´m so sorry that I havn´t written for a couple weeks, last week we had changes and we havn´t been able to write a lot. But I have a new companion Elder Angúlo D´León. That is probably the longest name that there it. ;) He´s amazing and he´s from La paz bolivia and we had a great week.
It all started off with a few new families that we found. They are interested in listening and it will be interesting to see how they progress! We also had an amazing lesson with Cesar Tejada. We´ve been looking for him for a couple of weeks and we finally found him. He´s amazing. He loves reading and he´s revieved his answer about the book of mormon. He told us he wantes to serve a mission, but for time he hasn´t been able to complete the simple things that help him get there. We also had a beatiful lesson with Rosa and Daniel Alamo. She´s not married with her husband, and she wants more blessings for her family. We explained the Law of chastity and she told us that this is what she was looking for. After Daniel told us that he wanted to be baptized and that he had recieved his answer!!!! We passed by for maribel and maria and they didn´t feel good about accepting a date to be baptized, but  we invited them to pray to know when they should be baptized. THey accepted and maria told us, who knows maybe a miracle could happen. I think we´ll have another great week.
Its been a great week!!! And I´ve really learned that God loves all his children. I hope that we each choose to come closer to him and his son. It´s hard to see people who, don´t want to follow christ. I know that the path is hard, but we can always do what is right. And we should do it, because God will always complete his promises. ´the pattern is simple but not easy to follow,´ and I hope we can all choose to follow the simple, lovely pattern that the gospel of christ offers us! Love you all so much! Thank you for your love and prayers.
