Hello!!!! Friends and Family and everyone else ;) Good morning and welcome to an amazing week! Today, I was thinking a lot that his week is about general conference and I wanted to leave an amazing title to this email... but it´s just not coming to me!

This week we´ve been seeing a lot more miracles that are here! Some of these have been the following:

Walking through the street on a rainy cajamarca day when out of the blue this man stopped us in the road. He called us by Elderes and explained that he had been looking for us for a really long time. He had moved here to cajamarca and had been listening to the misssionaries before, but lost contact! He´s been looking for missionaries to listen too so that he can come to church!

We had an amazing service were we walked into the house for a lesson, but he was building something for his wife. He almost told us he wouldn´t have time when my companion and I offered to lend a hand. It took up a bit of our time, but now the whole family will be listening to us in the following week! It´s the parents and they have 3 kids and an inlaw. They are all a bit older the children in their 20´s and 30´s. It´s a few families put together. After the service they told us we´re welcome back whenever!

Last but not least we have been teaching a family that has had major problems progressing because the father/husband doesn´t want to get married... He has changed so much this week! We just sat down and read the Book of Mormon with him every day. He´s smiling more joking more and we´ll see what else will happen.

Funny momment: I´m in charge of getting all of the packages that come up to cajamarca to the missionaries! And one of the funniest spanish mistakes I´ve ever made was saying, who needs book of mormons? ¿Quien necesita libro de mormones? Now wherever someone needs those they ask, can we have the book of mormons?

I love you all so very much! You have absolutly no idea ;) Something so important to remember is to look for the potential of the person and not who they are in the moment. If we do that our lives are a lot easier. I´m also pretty sure that our Savior had to do the same. With his apostle peter he struggled to get him going, but peter turned out to be his prophet. We also see the examples in the book of mormon when people rejected the prophets, such as alma the younger, and later turned into the greatest defenders of the truth. I love this work and I know that it´s true! Just keep smiling Keep praying!!! Love you all so much!

The Miracles!

This week was so amazing! We had amazing miracles come to pass... I am so sorry my vocabulary is limited to amazing ;)

First we´ve been working with an investigador for a lot of time now and we finally got a huge breakthrough! He has had to be studying sundays and so he couldn´t go, but some how some way his professor chose to move the class to a different day. He should be coming a lot more to church now!!!

We were outside waiting for a member who was going to acompany us, when I say a man unloading barrels from his car. I decided that I´m big and that I should go help him :) So I unloaded all of the barrels and he gave me sugar cane! We talked with him and noted down his adress,  talked with his little boy! After I was walking around with this sugar cane not knowing what to do, and I saw three kids playing in the street so I gave it to them! Later as we walked by the church a man came running out of his house to ask us to give a blessing to his daughter! He wants his family to be baptized but they live out an hour and a half from Cajamarca so the church isn´t there. THey´ll be atending one of the wards here and they are going to come down every week!!!

It was absolutly amazing! Again sorry.

I know that this is the true church. That miracles exist for each and every one of us. We just have to open our eyes to see them, and our heavenly father will show us the way!

Late night, Year night!!!

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO, I can´t believe it! It´s Monday and I get to write the best people in the whole wide world!!!

I was just having a normal day, I got a year in the mission I was happy and started an interchange. It all went down the drain from there. The Elder woke up at 12 at night and told me he had to go to the hospital. I sat with him in the emergency room until 3 and they told me I´d have to send him to trujillo! We got him there safe! But wow what a long night!

An amazing lesson this week with one of our investigadores. We were talking of the book of mormon and I asked him if he had a testimony of the book of mormon! He responded that he believed, but he didn´t know yet. I told him, that he could find his answer and my companion shared a perfect scripture in alma 60:21. We must use what the Lord has given us if we want success! It was perfect! :)

Hello!!! Or should I say hola ;) I will be completing a year this week... and I have officially changed to spanish in my head! I speak better spanish than english...

I was reflecting this morning on what I´ve learned in a year and It´s a ton. I remembered back to my days in Pacasmayo, when my dearest friend couldn´t quite get baptized! He´s so amazing and so strong. He just fell. I will always have him in my prayers.

I also remember back to when I was with the amazing Elder Bailey in Bellavista. When a hermana contacted us and invited us into her home. She is now one of the most faithful woman that I know, simply waiting to be married so that she can be baptized. Or ´´training Elder Klossner´´ who really trained me how to be a pure, humble, and kind missionary!

I was Reading in the book of mormon this week, about our freedom to chose. And I realized that in this year I havn´t been able to control all of the results of my misión. But I have been able to control my attitude. Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy! ;) As you go through your lives remember that we can´t always chose our trials and struggles, but we can always chose the way we react and our attitude! I am so happy to be a missionary of the Church of Jesús Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know it´s the true church and maybe it´s not always easy to continue on, but we can do it. Our saviour did it for each one of us so that we might have joy even if the world gets dark! By his power we are saved from every challenge that we will have! Just get down on your knees and ask what to do, and later do as he tells you! I love you all so much! I have the best family and friends in all of the world! you have all helped me so much!!! THank you for the best experience ever!

...Other than that we had amazing days teaching an amazing less active! He´s so cool. He´s coming back so strong to church and he and I are really good Friends :)

What!?

WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Hey everybody! ;)

Great week! We had some crazy service projects... one of which was lifting a dresser through a window... hehe, we had to pull it with a rope and we did it!!! We also moved a whole stack of fire wood for a bakery and then they made us PIZZA!!! basically the most crazy, but best services!

We had an amazing baptism this week! He is part of a beautiful family i love him so much!!! He was so happy after his baptism! there are some fotos! It´s hard to explain the joy of a baptism! I was so happy, especially after his beautiful testimony! His grandma broke down crying, she´s been waiting years for this opurtunity.

Amazing lesson yesterday night with an amazing brother. We taught him about baptism, how, and why? He´s been studying the bible for 40 years!!! So I decided to pull out my bible :) He loved the lesson, and understood that he needed to be baptized by imersion, by someone who had the power, be acountable for their action! We testified of Joseph Smith, that he restored the power and he absolutly loved it. He said, I´ve been listening to the other churchs for years, but I´ve always found falts, until you two got here!

I know that this church is true! Joseph Smith was a prophet. Our Savior loves us so much! And I love each one of you!!! Un brazaso!!!

HEY! I love you sll so much! you are all so amazing! You are the best in the world!

This week we got the news that elder medrano and i are staying together! We´re going to have another ggreat cambio together.  I love the mission so much!  I went on an awesome interchange with elder cabezas! We had a great time! We taught some amazing lessons and saw  some perfect miracles! Teaching the atonement is one of the best things th at we do. We taught a sister that has a lot of dificulties and she just began to sob. She´s a recent convert and really needed ou r help!

I was sitting in church sunday and I just felt the greatest joy in my soul! We were singing i believe in christ and I just knew that he loved us! A huge smile c ame onto my face and  a warm feeling in m y heart!

Interchange ;)

Hola mis queridos amigos y familiares! Como estan!? Les amo ;)

Hey everybody, It´s been a fantastic week! I went on an interchange with an Elder from Chota and we had a blast. He´s a southern california surfer and an incredible missionary! We had a similar teaching style and we had a wonderful time teaching! 

But there is one interchange that was so special for me! I got to go with Elder Herde!!! He is from my group in the CCM and we said goodbye to our families in the airport together! HAHA, We worked some amazing miriacles! We started with a normal lesson, but after the prayer we had the impresion to ask how she felt about Joseph Smith. She told us that she knew he was a prophet and that this was the true church! After we went and made amazing visits we helped this eldery gentleman push his vending cart up a hill! After we tauht him that he could be with his wife forever even though she had passed on to the next life. His eyes got teary as we testified of the savior and because he resurected we will all return with our loved ones! ;) He is an amazing missionary, a true miracle worker!

The next day they had a baptism and we went to see how it went. It was a little crazy ;) It all started off when I sat next to a young woman with her 2 children, I had visited her the day before in the interchange! She began to talk with me and she began to cry. She is passing by some hard times with her husband and wanted him to join the church. I left her some scriptures to read and she read them :) But, the elders forgot some things for the baptism and sent me and Elder Herde running through the streets! I am out of shape!°!! I got chased by some crazy dogs!!!

THat was my awesome week!
