What are you waiting for?

Something amazing I guess ;) Hello hello! Family and friends and neighbors, and everyone. Haha, Well this has been a really intense week with some amazing experiences. So here we GO!!!

First we were walking through a park here in our area and I saw a man that his eyes were red from crying. We sat down by him and we asked if there was anything we could do. He didn´t say much, until we began to talk about his family and he told us that his son, had passed a wicked hard experience. He had recently joined a church, that didn´t let him play his instruments. (His son plays baritone and trombone, and studied in the best university in Lima for mucisians) His father loves hearing him play and sees that this church has been changing his son but not for the better. We said that we might be able to help and he began to smile and talk more and more, and then came the surprise... He told us, A few months ago I saw three books in the trash. I went and picked them up and I began to read one with a blue cover. I think the book is from your church! I love it!!! I´m reading in NEFI. Haha, out of nowhere we began to talk about the story and he told us it brought peace to his life!!!

Second, We were pretty sad when Maribel told us this week that she was confused and wasn´t going to be baptized. We had tried everything, and we felt pretty horrible. But after church we were talking with president Licera, and what do you know he had taken maribel and her husband to dinner the night before, with his wife and the first councilor and his wife! They talked about baptizm got all of their doubts straightened out, and put a baptismal date for this sunday!!! It was something so so huge! She will be baptized this sunday exactaly a year after her husband was baptized. It´s a miracle!!!

President Licera asked for us to use our filming skills, and we have interviewed a lot of return missionaries taking videos of them talking about their experiences. The Elder´s quorm president, Carlos Zamora told us, that walking through the streets one day a carpinter came up to him and said, why don´t you talk with me? I want to learn! So they began to teach him and the left him 2 nephi 31... They came back and the man began to cry and testify to them, ´If Christ being perfect needed to be baptized, how much greater it is that I have need to be baptized! I know the book of mormon is ture´. He was baptized with his all of his children and his wife. He has been a branch president and all of his children have served missions and the whole family is sealed in the temple!!! I hope to get all these videos on a USB to be able to show everyone these amazing experiences, there are a lot!!!

It´s been amazing, Familia Rojas is progressing a lot and they have began to come to church and read the book of mormon it looks like it´ll be just a matter of time! I know that this really is the true church and that the mission is the best thing that can happen to any person. I know that the book of mormon is true and I know that we can all be happy in a world where it´s hard to do so. I love all of you so much!!!

Wow...

Well this week was a bit crazy. We had a huge activity contacting with the branch in the middle of town, and we got up to 30 members some days!!! it was amazing to see fathers and sons, mothers and daughters and friends sharing their testimonies. It was a bit stressful organizing everything, but I`m feeling better now. Haha, ;) It`s amazing what God can do for us. I`ve had some times when I havn`t known what to do and I`ve been totally lost. But God carried this activity. And to be honest, we didn`t have the result that we wanted, but it looks like we`ll be having different results in the future. We`ll be seeing about it :)

Had an interchange with Elder Nuñez which was wierd being with him again. We started the first lesson and we did everything just like old times! We shared our testimonies with everyone and it was amazing to see one man commit to read the book of mormon, and later to commit a young man to pray to be able to see a miracle and be baptized. He told me he`d send me the foto of his baptism!

We also had an amazing lesson with Ricardo Rojas and his wife carmen. Their situation is a bit complicated, and we had to help. They were talking saying some mean things about eachother and my temper began to raise...but out of nowhere I calmed myself down and asked in a little prayer for the ability to love them. I was afraid that my words were going to come out harsh, but all was calm. Ricardo told us that he say no change, and I testified of the avalanch effect. If we start on God`s path not everything is perfect right away, but it goes improving as we go. Until we have 100 times more than what we started with. He sat there staring at me and could only say, I really like what you said... His wife told us, the next time you come all my children are going to be here to listen! It was a huge miracle and it`s another family that is goning to be getting ready really soon.

I have been learning a lot about responding with love. I know if we lean to control our temper, and speak with kindness to all people, God gives us the victory!!! He sees our desires to love his children and we are ok! He is  perfect and he has a perfect plan for all of us!!! Lov eyou all so much! Chou!!!

Miracles and love!

Family and friends! I know I´ve never put miracles or love as one of my titles for an email... Jaja, so you´ll just have to read the email! ;)

This week has been so amazing and we´ve had some really tender and special moments. We had the oppurtunity to eat with 2 member families. One of them, Carlos Zamora, told us about his mission and how he had seen the power of God change men. It was so amazing to listen to his stories and feel the spirit testify, that God truly loves us, and he can do all things. The other Pedro Pablo is a man who is so very humble and that doesn´t have much. He has a dirt floor, and the whole house is adobe. He has about 150 diferent types of birds such as turkeys, ducks, and chickens in the back part of his house. He doesn´t have much, but he gave us all he had. THey put a red towel on the table like they would do with a table cloth and we had an amazing experience. He repeated the same frase over and over which was, we don´t have much, but I have my family and we love eachother! What more do we need? Two great and powerful men and it was amazing to be in their homes.

We also had some amazing experiences with some investigadors. Maribel is still going strong for the 23rd of July. And we had an amazing lesson with the familia Rojas. We were talking with them and they just told us that they had begun to see blessings. And the mother who hadn´t really wanted to listen told us that she had seen a real change in her children. And I just know that something amazing is going to happen. I felt something so special in their home when the mother began to explain that the situation was getting a lot better and that they were happier. Hermano Ricardo Rojas wasn´t seeing too many blessings yet, but I know that this week will be a lot better for him. I know he´s been pretty stressed. I know that God loves us so much! ANd he wants to see miracles in our lives. But the most special part is that those miracles usualy come when someone else takes the time to love us. IF we choose to love someone and hope with all our heart that they can change, they will change! God looks at generations, and he´s always willing to bless his children! Love you all so much! Big Plans!

Hola hola! Cómo están? Les amo a todos muchismo! ;)

This week was a little hard to find news. We´ve been so blessed with baptisms, but we´ve been on the search for who´s next! We have a great family Rojas who are progressing and the father has been coming to church. Also maribel accepted her date for the 23rd of July! We have been teaching her and she has been super happy. She and her husband have already started plans to make a temple trip next year! It´s been super amazing... but who´s next? And where are they? ;)

We´ve been trying to contact but it just hasn´t paid off yet... we meet a lot of people, but then they arn´t home, or they´re not super interested. Especially with all the catholic festivals in a town named guadalupe! ;) But we are talking with our branch president about an activity to show the movie meet the mormons on a projector in the chapel. We´re going to be inviting all of guadalupe to come find out more, and we´ll see how it works! But as for now, there are lots of plans. Gotta find em all! Haha :)

Well, I´ve been thinking a lot about love lately. If we can put all of our heart into the work everything will be so much better! Love is the greatest commandment, and listening to the conference talks I learned that those who are hardest to love often need our love the most! The plan of God is perfect and it´s all supported on the foundation of God´s love for us his children! He loved us so he sent his son. And thanks to his eternal sacrifice we will never be too far away from God´s love if we repent! It´s a perfect plan of mercy and of love! I love you all so much and I hope you all have an amazing week!

I believe in miracles!

Familia y amigos!

Well, this week José Daniel was able to be baptized and confirmed! He´s absolutley amazing and a total jokster. Haha, He jumped out from behind a car yesterday at 8 pm and scared me half to death! He´s excited to go on the mission in a few years and we´re trying to help his mom get married so that she can be baptized. The work is truly amazing. i know that God blesses all his children, if they obey his commandments.

Another miracle that we had was after church our branch president Licera came to talk to us and told us he felt maribel was ready for baptism. We went to her house to teach her. I felt that the baptism should be for this week, the 17th. But Maribel didn´t want to commit for this week. Her mother in law María Abanto was there and she commited to talk to maribel every day, read the scriptures and pray with her! She then commited to be baptized the 24th of June. Guadalupe is so amazing and the people are so sweet and so amazing. We had a church attendance of 180 mas o menos this week! That was great, and it was a normal sunday ;) We´re seeing lots of miracles and the church is growing in so many ways.

Sprint!

Hola hola!!! Haha, Les amo a todos mucho :) I´m begining to forget my english so I´m sorry if there is any mistake... I love you all so much! It was an amazing week with a lot of hard work :) I´m pretty tired and I think that that´s a good sign. We started last week off with an amazing refferal. A sister came to church last sunday and asked us to visit her familly. so last monday we went to go see if we could visit her father and he accepted us happily. He told us he didn´t want to make any commitment that he couldn´t keep and that he wasn´t going to lie to us. Awesome!!! :) So we began to work with him. His name is Ricardo and he´s going through some hard times, and he´s looking for something that he can do to change his life. We went back for  another visit during the week and he looked at us and said, Well my family isn´t going to commit...so maybe it´s better if you two don´t come. I was pretty shocked but I felt that I should share mathew 5 when it talks about being a light. And that our light can fill the whole house. We promised him that his actions could change his whole famly and he told us ok! He was there sunday and told us he felt good in church :)

Daniel Alamo is getting ready for his baptism this week and he´s super excited. He´s becoming a lot more mature, and just begining to shine a lot for his family. María and susana are still going great and strong. They are both so happy and they´ve both a ccepted the challenge to read the  book of mormon every day!  It´s been so amazing.

I know that  this truly is the church of Jesus Christ. Repentance is one of the main points of his gospel and it´s something that  we have to do every single day. It´s the only path that we have to true happiness and bit by bit, we will find our true selves and we will be free from every mistake that we´ve made! It´s a perfect gospel, and it´s all possible thanks to Jesus Christ! I love you all so much and I hope you all have a great week. Be safe, and do what is right! :) Love you all!
