New years!!!

And a happy new year!!!! ;) i hope you all had a fantastic new year, and that you could set some future goals. Our week was aamazing we could talk to marco and he decided he will be baptized the 21 January. We have some great goals and we will  be seeing some huge mirracles!!!!

Marcco is such a wonderfful man he is going throughh some big problems in life but really feels tha the church of jesus christ can help him  inn this life to over come all of thesee probllems. He´s at church every week and is just looking for thatt confirming in his  heart through  the spirit that the church iss true!! 

Elder Espinoza is so great!!!! :) He is teaching me a lot. We´re going to see a lot of success here in cajamarca. The people here are so amazing. Always remmber that Jesus Christ is our savior  and if  not for him, we couldn´t  do anything!!! Lovve all of you!!1

Christmas!!!

Where are you christmas? Mom...I´m never singing again!!! Are you serious??? Haha, Just kidding! I had the best christmas ever yesterday talking to my family! They´re the best in the whole world! I hope you all felt my big bear hug this christmas. Elder Nuñez left and I get to stay in Cajamarca!!! Woo hoo!!! It was so sad to see him leave but I love him so much! He´s so great! My new companion is from my group from puno peru!!!! Elder Espinoza. We´ll see so many miracles together!!!! It´ll be a great few changes!!!

Well, just a short email today, but I really hope during all of the other things that we did this christmas that we could talk a little for what the Savior has done for us this year. In 2016 he has changed my life! I might have never seen him personally, but I know he lives and loves me. I can and have been so prideful and crazy in the past, but that doesn´t matter to him. He´s my big brother and he only wants to help me! I´ve become so much better thanks to him this year, and I´m so excited for the year to come!!! Love all of you so much!!!

Knocking Doors!

Wow.... Haha it´s been a long week ;) Family Díaz is doing great! They´re getting ready to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. Wooo hooo! ;) With the family we´re trying to teach their Sister(Her family) and their parents! They are really receptive and it´ll be interesting to see if we can get them to come to church! 

That´s been the theme of the week! Get people to church. Knocking on doors looking for new people whatever we can do!!! We put in all of our heart andat the end of the week on sunday things payed off. I had sent a text to amulek (Kevin) asking him to invite his brother to come and he did. After coming he felt peace in his heart and wants to come next week!

Also amazing conference with President Marble! He is so amazing. A little Christmas show and great pineapple chicken!

I learned a ton, also great week laughing with Elder Nuñez ;) The message of the week was simple! We put in all that we can and the Lord does the rest. It´s just always the truth. If we are obedient and faithful to him he will give us all that he hath. It´s amazing to be a missionary! This is his work and he moves it forward.

How are you all doing!? Is everything going ok? What can I do to brighten up your week? ;) Well I hope this message helps alittle.

The familia Diaz got into the water this week! It was absolutly amazing. We got their wedding all set up and then they wanted to be baptized imediatly afterward. I had the oppurtunity to baptize mayori who is the 11 year old girl, and it reminded me when I baptized maddie. She came out of the water, put her hand to her heart and said,oh my heart! Jostin and Jacki felt the same as they were baptized and the whole family was super happy with this decision. THey are my superheros. We can really testify that the book of mormon is the key to conversion. If a person reads it, and searches for God´s counsel they´ll find it. It´s a perfect book and it helps all men to come unto Christ!

Speaking of which, I know that being a missionary here is something so special because we are called and set apart to be messangers of God. But I think that we all share the commision to share the gospel of Christ. We have the ability to invite all men. And I know we can feel inadequette sometimes, but it´s ok! in 2 nefi 33:1 it says that if someone speaks by the power of the holy spirit that that spirit will take our message to the hearts of the children of men. So we don´t ever have to be worried in what we will say if we are worthy of the precense of the spirit! I hoppe you all can come to Christ this Christmas and think more in him. The path is a lot happier :) Thanks you all for everything you´ve done for me, and sorry that I´m so imperfect! One day i hope to pay all of you back for what you´ve taught me! Love you all so much.

Man down!!!

Wooo hoooo! Haha, How are you all doing? Any cool christmas time news? Did you see the devocianal yesterday?

Don`t worry, the title isn`t for me I`m doing great! :) But we need some really special prayers for Elder Nuñez. He`s had a wicked ear infection and hasn`t been able to go out proselyting all week long. It`s been super hard for him. So remember him in your thoughts and prayers!

Don`t worry about us not proselyting either, because we have one of the greatest wards in the whole mission! We had people with us each day so we could proselyte and one of those special people was Kevin Sanchez.. He`s a recent convert, about half my size, and has one of the most amazing testimonies I`ve ever heard! He`s been struggling a little with the desire to do on his mission but he has no problem coming with us when we need help! Recently he had disapeared and we couldn`t find him, but I had a spiritual impression that he needed to come and proelyte with us. He told us he would come and we had an amazing day!!! We went to help an eternal investidgador and began to ask him some questions to find why he wouldn`t be baptized. He told us he had a friend that wasn`t a very good influence on him and so he didn`t want to be baptized because this friend would always take him to do bad things. Kevin in the instant began to share his testimony of how he overcme the pure pressure as a DJ, ad left all the bad stuff behind and was baptized! It was perfect!!! We then went to the Familia Diaz and they now call him the future elder whenever they see him! It was amazing. We had so many amazing members with us to support us and help us proselyte this week. Our heavenly Father really has been looking out for us! ;) He`s perfect.

Report on the Familia Diaz. They will be married and baptized this week! :) Jacky testified of the book of mormon to us saying that, I only read 4 verses and I had the desire to get baptized. That`s why the book of mormon is so perfect! She has rejected to listen to the missionaries for years, but she`s going to be baptized this week thanks to this book. It`s true. It testifies of our savior Jesus Christ, and invites us to all come unto him. I hope you`ll all take time to read a little bit of the Book of Mormon this Christmas because really just a few verses can change your life! If your struggling a bit reading it `Just read one verse a day`-TJ Moore. I love you all so much and I wish all of you a merry Christmas!!! ;)

The phone call!

Familia!!! ¿Cómo están? ¿Que han hecho esta semana?

Wow, it´s been a very long week... We have both been a little sick and we had to go down to trujillo and we´re trying to get the familia Diaz married! So it´s been quite a crazy time, but here is the best story by far:

My companion was a bit under the weather taking a nap and so I was making phone calls and taking care of some buisness. I got a phone call from Violetta who is the sister to the familia Díaz and she began to talk about that the family was doing great and then said, My sister in law wants to talk with you! She´s super excited about the baptism. I didn´t know, but her sister in law jacky was right there and she said, Elder Wynn my baptism is going to be in the morning or in the afternoon this friday? I couldn´t believe it! She has her answer and is ready, only that they need to get married and we´re working on the papers as fast as we can!

Presidente Godoy came to trujillo and it was an amazing conference! He is truly an amazing man. He was speaking more portugues y ingles then español, but it was amazing!

The Book of Mormon works so many miracles. As missionaries it´s what we should focus on the most! Especially when we are talking to the decendants of Lehi. I know that it´s more perfect than any other book in the earth, and it teaches that all men must repent and come unto Christ. It it is the base of a missionaries teaching and our investigadores read it then more people will feel the spirit, and more people will convert!

Road blocks...and a coming miracle!

Love you all so much!!! I can`t believe it. I`m doing fine, but I`m pretty sure I`ll die in Utah. It`s gotten pretty cold here in Cajamarca and it gave me a wicked cough...I know i was the boy playing football in shorts and a t shirt running through the snow and now I can`t even live with a little cold air. Jaja, but how are all of you? What`s it like to have snow? I hope all of you know that I love you! If anyone ever needs anything just write!

This week we had a few road blocks. We were going super fast on the highway to baptism with the family Diaz when their less active father came home... We thought he would help, but he turned and said his family was not going to be baptized! We kept working and working with him until finally we committed him to come to church! ;) It was a miracle. THe meeting started and he wasnt there. We got about half way through the meeting and he walked in the door!!! Elder Nuñez and I were so happy. After the meetings he told us that they were the most beautiful classes he had ever heard, with tears in his eyes. It was like watching a man go back in time seeing all of the memories that he had when he was still active. But it wasn`t the last road block... Ruh oh, they arn`t married! We asked them before and they said yes, but they recently told us that no they`re not... But we have a contact that does marriages here and we`re praying they accept the offer to be married and baptized this friday! Praying for a huge miracle.

We taught a family yesterday, that is a little interesting. The father is less active and the mother is a little more into the worldly things. But yesterday we got onto the topic about her children and we promised her if she and her husband could teach their children the Gospel of God that they would not lose their children. The Spirit filled the room and she became a lot more intersted in our message!

I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. It teaches the same principles and ordinances that he taught. Any man, woman, or child can come and find out if it`s really true. I know that Jesus is our older brother, savior and redeemer. He knows us personally and he currently is calling everyone in the world through young men and women. He is the miracle of our message, and the joy in our hearts!
