Steadfast in Christ

Well this week we had a few troubles and problems. It´s always hard, but it always makes us better! ;) We had the oppurtunity to listen to President Marble and I had a few spiritual impressions. Oneis that we should always be steadfast in Christ! We always have to center our lives on him and that means keeping all of his commandments. If we do so we will be blessed and the biggest of all these blessings is peace and happiness. We feel sure about all the decisions that we make and we´ll never let go of the truth we´ve felt in our hearts.

This week maria abanto became a lot stronger in her fatih. We entered into her house and we began to teach about the Gospel of Christ, Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the end. When we started she pulled out a note book and told us that she was going to take notes on what we said. She was loving the lesson and then webegan to talk about baptism. We told her about it and she looked at us and said, That´s what I need! She is still going strong just has a few more things to figure out before she´s ready to be baptised. We also are teaching her daughterin law maribel and she´s a lotmore excited too. She just needs the courage to take the last step.

On sunday we had the oppurtunity to confer the priesthood on a brother raul ventura who was baptized by the sisters. When our branch president finished theblessing he said he could feel somehting that he had never felt before!

i knowthat this is the true church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He asks us to follow him, and he promises all the blessings of the heavens. I know if we keep his commandments that he will always be willing to bless us! I hope you all have a gerat week! I love you all so much!

Bolivia no tiene playa ;)

Well, I jumped on and saw that my brother got his mission call to BOLIVIA! I hope you can all pray for him and wish him peace and luck! We might just be as ´the sons of thunder´. Haha, We had an amazing week it´s been hard with susana... This last week we were in her house when a group of Evangelicos entered her house and told her they had to speak alone, in a 4 vs. 1 they told her a lot of bad things about the church. My companion and I sat there shocked, and I felt the spirit leave the house as they began to attack the church. When we thought everything had gone wrong, we heard susana´s voice ring loud and clear, ´I know that God lives, that Jesus Christ is our savior, and that the Spirit is our guide. And the mormons believe that too! These hermanitos have only told me good uplifting things.´ We began to smile and after a few minutes the four people left. She was in a bit of a panic for the things they had told her but we assured her that if she went through the interview that all would be well. Well... She was interviewd and she was baptized!!! ;) Yes! Haha, the only bad thing that happened was before she was baptized a cricket jumped in the water and we had to get it out. But she told us that she knows this church is true, and she will only continue learning and growing.

I know that we will all have bad days, but the Lord´will not tempt us more than what we can bear.´ If we trust in him he will always help us with peace in our soul and comfort to know that all things are possible through him! I love you all so much, and remember if you need something ask of God and all will be well!

A testimony

To start off, this week we will be having a baptism for Susana Villanueva and she´s super excited. Everything is planned and ready so we´ll be having another great week ;)

This week was absolutley amazing! We were talking with an investigador about conference! Her name is María abanto. She liked it a lot, but we didn´t have much time to talk. We saw her in a Family night, with her son who is a member, and my companion started the lesson. He bore his testimony of the gospel, and she began to have tears in her eyes. I asked her what she was feeling, and she replied, ´I want my whole family to belong to this church. I know it´s true.´ And with that the spirit filled the room. She was so happy, and had the peace of the gospel in her life!

I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ! And I know, that we can all have our spirits gladdened, even though we aren´t perfect. Our Father in Heaven loves us and only wants what´s best for us! He will never quit on us and will always ask that we can give our all! Don´t ever forget, that the gospel of Jesus Christ, is something that we will continue doing forever. If you ever have problems enduring to the end, kneel and ask our Father for the extra strength. And you will recieve. I love you all! And I know if we can endure to the end, we will be in our heavenly Father´s arms now and forever!

Conference!

Es tiempo para ir al campo! El día de hoy tenemos los huestes de satanás contra los apóstoles del Señor Jesucristo!!! Jaja, conference was amazing ;) I hope you all enjoyed it too! We had three investigadors at our side when they began the talk of Joaquin Costa. He did his own voice over and it was amazing to hear his talk. He invited all the investigadors to listen to the missionaries and they looked at us intently. It was an amazing experience!

Susana accepted a baptismal date for the 15 of April! The Familia Alamo has some problems, but they continue reading the book of mormon and they are feeling the holy spirit! Maribel, hasn´t been able to come to church, but is doing better with her health! I know that this is the work of our Savior. He is our captain and it´s our time to go and take the field! I love you all so much! Thank you for all of your prayers and all the things you all do to help me out. You are all such amazing sons and daughters of our heavenly father and I love all of you so much!
