Rising fire!

I love you all so much! I might be the stangest person to start an email like that, but it´s true! ;) I hope you´ve all had such a great week. We have been struggling a little in the heat. It´s in the 90´s every day and it doesn´t go down that much at night, but I love Guadalupe a ton! The people here are so amazing! And we had some amazing lessons this week!
Susana is the mother of one of our converts, and she was pretty strong on her belief in only the Bible with the missionaries before. But now she´s starting to read the Book of Mormon with the Bible and is loving it! She was pretty scared of commiting or learning more at first, but yesterday she accepted a date for the 11 of march. She´s getting ready, and she is feeling a lot more peace in the church of Jesus Christ ;)
The mission is the best experience I could ever have in my life! I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, and that his gospel has been restored! The Book of mormon and the Bible mark the path in which we should take to return to our loving heavenly Family! ;) Don´t forget that we are all children of God and he has the same purpose for all of his children!
Guadalupe when I first got to the mission, was only baptizing one time every month as a zone. They were thinking of shutting down the zone when Elder Cantos and his companion got everything started here again! It´ll be an amazing month in march with a lot of baptizms planed in every area and Guadalupe is becoming one of the best zones in the entire mission! Things can always change for the better!
Elder Wynn Love you all!

Families!

Buenas Tardes! ;) how are all of you doing? What has been your favorite meal of this week? Haha ;)
Well my companion has been a little sick, but we still managed to work really hard! We have a great branch here. Everyone knows what they´re doing and the do the job really well! We found another family of 4 and we started to teach them as well. They seem really prepared, and want to know a lot about the gospel. They are pretty new on the topic of religeon, but they want to learn. They are the Familia alamo!
Walking through the street one day we saw this man with some awesome sunglasses and we decided to contact him. He loves to read, and has heard a lot of religeons before, but hasn´t found what he´s searching. So he wanted to listen to us and he accepted a Book of Mormon and is now reading it! His daughter and wife will be there for the second lesson ;) And we had a lesson with a sister who hasn´t wanted to progress a lot, but she told us she would fast with us and see if she got the answer to be baptized. Her husband, a member, was really excited and we´ll see what answer she got!
I love Guadalupe a ton! It´s been hard leaving Cajamarca and I´m still getting into the swing of things, but it´s great to be here! I know it´s where the Lord needs me to be. The people of Perú are so amazing, and they want to hear this wonderful message! I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, that He loves us, and died for us. Thanks to Him we will have the opurtunity to be with Him and our Father in Heaven forever! I love you all so much. I hope you have an excelent week ;)

Summer Heat!

How are you all doing? I´m doing fantastic, but there are quite a few mosquitos and it´s pretty hot outside! Jaja ;) Bienvenidos a Guadalupe! Now I´m here back where I started my mission. It was amazing when we had a district conference in pacasmayo and I saw all the people who first saw me on my mission. I could understand them all and I got a lot of hugs. They are so amazing! And as I sat in the conference I noticed that my pensionista wasn´t there. So after I decided to go say hi before we went to guadalupe. It was strange knocking on the door and walking into their house. I called out their names, and I saw my sweet papa jose come out of the back part of the house. He looked at me and a smile spread across his face :) We sat there and talked for a while and  I found out he´s doing pretty bad with his health. His wife la santa maria is still going strong, but he´s having some problems. So we gave him a blessing and when we hugged he cried saying mi hijo regresó! They are such a perfect family. We´ll be visiting them on p days to see how they´re doing.
Other than that yesterday we found a family of 5 to begin teaching, we have the mother and cousin of a recent convert who are coming to church and learning more every week! And one of the greatest lessons in my mission! We started talking with a sister and we helped her realize that she needed to be baptized! She commited to her date for the 25th of febuary and we´ll be working a lot with them. Love you all so much! And thank you for all your prayers, it´s amazing to be back here and we´ll see a lot more miracles this week!

Return of the Kings

It has been such an amasing week and I hope you have all had a great one too!!! First off the button for the last letter of the alphabet dosn`t work, so I`ll just be using s. ;)
We had an amasing baptism of Carmen Gomes. She is the sister from Cajabamba and she was baptised and confirmed this week. We had an amasing experience in her interview. We got there and she brought a friend for the interview. We didn`t think much of it until she went in for her interview and her friend stayed outside with us. Her friend was named bianca and she had never heard the missionaries before. She had some neighbors who were members and she was reading her book of mormon! She told us that when she reads the book of mormon all of her fears and anger just vanish and she feels peace in her heart. It was powerful. She told us she would love to listen to missionaries and just lucky us we were on interchanges and she lived in the area of Elder Cuellar (My companion for the day). After she came to the baptism and said she felt so good. So did Carmen! It was a wonderful week and then we got the call...
Cajamarca is perfect! The people here are so sweet humble and kind. I hope I can be back one day.
E mi amigo! Elder Nuñes called to say I`d be going to Guadalupe. I go from the rain and cold to the beach! I`m 30 minutes from Pacasmayo and I`ll be the sone leader for pacasmayo. And I`ll be companions from someone in my group! De quayaquil equador Elder Cantos :) We started together in Pacasmayo with diferent companions, but we`re back in Guadalupe/Pacasmayo! We will be seeing a lot of miracles. I love you all so much! Keep going strong and never loose that burning testimony! Talk to you next week!
