Dia de independencia de colombia!

HAHA, Thank you all so much for all the love and support this week. I have over 50 emails sittin there in my inbox! HOLY COW, I love you all so much ;)

THis week has been amazing! We have been working really hard and we should see some great miracles. 

Yesterday we had amazing lesson with a man named percy! He is returing to the church and it´s amazing to see the joy and peace the gospel brings to his life!

You know what... I just wanna write my testimony!

I love the people of peru so much! They are so special and really deserve this gospel. I know that my father in heaven loves each one of us. I love each and every one of you. You are my brothers and sisters! We are all in the same team trying to return to God again. It´s the greatest honor in the world as a missionary to have the oppurtunity to help these lovely people. The mission is the best experience ever!

On the road!!!

Wow, it´s been a week. And P day ended with a bang. As I was leaving bellavista we were walking through the street and I felt the spirit tell me to talk to this sister we had been teaching for a long time. She had come to church for the first time in her life my last week. As we passed by we began to talk. Somehow I changed the subject to the Book of MOrmon and I gave her a copy to read. I bore my testimony saying that all those who really pray to konw if the book is true will know and they will be happier. After she burst into tears and could only say thank you. I don´t konw what will happen, but one day I´ll be back there to see.

Now I´m in CAJAMARCA CITY. It´s amazing here. This is easily one of the richest areas that I´ve been in. We have 3 malls in our area and it´s really wierd to see the inca culture mixed in with modern culture. I am having an amazing time with Elder Medrano and Learning so much from him. It´s been a crazy week and all I can say, is that we´ll be having an amzing time here. THe ward is absolutey astounding. Everyone has such a strong testimony and supports the work. It´s incredible. I´ve seen more miracles, but there ain´t time.

I got the call...

One of those weeks where you do absolutly amazing things as a missionary. We got the wedding of sheila and freddy next week and so we have all of the paper work, we are also just about to save estefani she just needs her interview. Bellavista is in full support of the missionary force and the bishop and council are doing everything that they can to help us. We had so many people come to church.

I had an amazing intercambio on saturday with Elder Drescher. We invited people to come to church we climbed the hill of la esperanza and taught all that we could. A perfect week right?

I would like to say a song from don henly to describe my saturday night:

I go to serve one of the best places in all the mission I´m so excited. I love them so much and I know I´ll see so many miracles. I´ll remember Helen, Christian, Diego, and Fredy. I´ll remember Jorge, Maria, Monica, and Lorenza. These people are perfect. I am definitley returning to visit bellavista again one day.

But for now It´s time to go to CAJAMARCA. SI

Priesthood Power

First off the exclamation point is not working so my letter will be pretty boring.

This week was amazing. We had a lot of adventures, including inviting an amazing family to be baptized. They accepted and we´ll begin to work with them. Their only problem is that they work all the time during the week. But they have really wanted to listen to us and I´m excited to see how it goes. We will also be rescuing estefani this week and she will be going to the temple. I love the mission and I am so grateful for all the amazing experiences that we have.

My message today iis going to focus a little bit on priesthood power. I have had amazing experiences on my mission, but this week was the most amazing by far. We had the oppurtunity to give a blessing to a sister that was really sick. She said how scared she was and she could hardly see. She had been to the hospital a lot, but none of the treatments worked. She had been kept in a state were she could not speak or move very well. We gave her an amazing blessing and the second it ended she began to speak to us. She talked about how when we entered into the room, she thought she saw four angles, the four elders. She has now regained her ability to move and to talk. If any of you ever have a problem, you can always contact a priesthood holder who is worthy. They have the power that created the earth and the heavens.
