Changes! No hay joven

Howdy Yáll! 

It´s been quite a week. We had an activity as missionaries and it was really successful! We saw helen and her family there this week and the blas famliy! The blas family is really interesting because pedro blas is the elders quorm president, but nobody in his family is a member! He has been out of town almost my whole time here as a missionary, but he has recently returned and we are going there tonight to visit his family! I love them so much! I am so excited to get to know them.

We are still trying to find news. We searched through the area book all last night and we made a huge list of people that we can go visit that have had the missionaries before. We also have the ward director to look for incomplete faimlies. It has been so hard!!! Every time we find a family they vanish after the first lesson! I´ll hang in there! ;) 

Now it´s just time to leave with some more faith! It´s time to give it our all and to know that God will give the rest! We have had a trying week, but this one is going to be amazing! Our members are getting a little more animated to work and we are going to be looking for that one person who wants to change their lives! Wow, it´s going to be amazing! Tell all of you about it next week!

Sweet Testimony! And closed doors...

I love all of you!!!! 

This week has been really interesting, We started off with many interesting references. We went to contact a lot of them and they just all responded to us, no we´re good... We contacted one that took an hour to tell us that they weren´t ready to accept the gospel, an HOUR! It was a little hard, but as each week goes there is a silver lining.

We started a lesson with H-- this week when we asked her a simple question. What do you feel when you read the book of mormon? She exploded with joy and began to proclaim all of the things that she had felt reading the book! Elderes, it´s like my heavenly father is right behind me saying, Helen my daughter this is true! I feel amazing and I forget all of my fears and concerns when I read the book! I can feel this same feeling of love and joy when I go to church! It was an amazing night. Plus her mother in law, L--, shared her beautiful testimony. They had some family over and the family accepted the gospel and is now accepting the missionaries in the primavera. She just needs to get married! She is an amazing chosen daughter of our heavenly Father!

Yesterday i had the opportunity to explain the plan of salvation to Walter. I am a pretty good doodler and I used my talent this night. I took a blank piece of paper and asked him some easy questions: Where are you? Who are you with? Where do you want to go? I drew a little bit for each part of the lesson until we had our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ waiting in heaven for him and for his family. I drew the steps he would have to take to get there and he said he would pray and just wish that his wife would listen to us. I hope it´ll work out.

I love this gospel and I know Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father created every single part of it. It´s a perfect plan that if we choose to accept, will change our eternal destiny! Read the book of mormon and ask if it´s true, that´s all you need and you have everything!

This is H-- and her family and A--

Dificil, pero no imposible

Wow a lot to write about!!! We found a beautiful family of three this week and we taught them about the book of mormon! They told us they new we were messangers of God because of the peace that we brought into their home. They handed the book of mormon and they treated it like it was pure gold!!!

Our bishop decided to completely be on our side and he said, elderes we will help you in the work! We will help this ward together. It was one of the best experiences ever. And speaking of the bishop, Alexis the nephew of the bishop is progressing again! He is coming to church reading his scriptures and he said I will be baptized the 4 of june. Holy cow it was amazing.

We gave blessings to a family that has been through some really hard times. It was amazing to see the priesthood at work! I love this wonderful power!

At the end of this week of stress and trial I started this day a little diferent. We finished our personal study and we started our companionship study. I turned to elder Klossner and I told him he would need his pillow. Right after we had a small pillow fight, we screamed into our pillows and we got out all of our stress. It was awesome. After we had one of the best studies in the world and we made a map to show walter and his family how one day they can obtain eternal life! I love elder Klossner so much! All of you remember if you are stressed, just think outside of the box!!! You can do something and you can change your whole day around. I also sugest reading the book of mormon and listening to Jeffery R Holland.

Little things

HELLO family and friends!

This week has been absolutely wonderful but very hard at the same time. So we were working with those two weddings and they fell through but they are both going to be married in the near future. I can tell you for sure that men in every country are very scared of marriage. I love this area so much. We always have our difficulties but the people that I have come to know are just simply the best. I love each and every one of them with all of my heart.

We are still working really hard and we rescued Lorenza this week! That was amazing and I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have had to know her. Now it´s just time to see when she can go into the temple.

I would like to just leave a spiritual message for the week: Keep it simple, look at the little things. I think in life we always view the biggest things as the most important. I can testify that as I talked to my family yesterday, I remembered a simple experience with every one of them. I am so grateful for my family, even if it was doing something simple like playing a board game together, watching a movie, or just talking has really demonstrated our love for one another. I love them all so much. I was just looking at their faces yesterday and I was thinking especially of an experience or better say the many experiences that I have had with all of them. My family is the best and I am so grateful for all of the many things that they do for me. I´m also so grateful for you and I think that all of the things that you have done  for me. I know that it´s all part of the experience that heavenly father has given us. We are doing great! Keep going strong and remember to look for how much heavenly father loves you in the little moments. Also remember how Jesus Christ gave his life for each and every one of us. Love you all more than you can imagine. Defend the family!

Love Doctor!

Before you ask about the title first off...Hermana M-- was rescued this week!!! She has everything and should receive an assignment the next Sunday! Holy cow it´s been an uphill battle, but we got it!!! Her daughter M-- will be rescued the following week!

We are still waiting on just an interview from the bishop for L-- and she will be saved, but we had some great news from her family. Her son G-- and her daughter in law H-- are going to get married the 14 of may!!!! I´m so happy. We talked with G-- yesterday for the first time and he said that yeah he would love to be married. We told him about the sealing power and one of the things that his wife would need to do for them to progress together to this goal was her baptism. and she couldn´t be baptized unless she was married. He said perfect!!! Lets get married. We talked with her that night and they were both running to do some of the requirements to get this thing all taken care of. They are going to be a strong family to bring into the church!

But that´s not all!!! We don´t just have one family, we have two!!! One of our other less actives W-- said he was unsure about marriage, so we had him right all of his feelings down on a paper and then he said yes i´m ready!!! He will propose this week in the temple which should be perfect. I can´t wait to see three families sealed!!! M-´s family, L-- and family, and Walter and family!!!It´s perfect.

Love you all so much!!! The church is true, and families can only be forever though this church! Look into the church if you arn´t a member and if you are a member get active in the work!
