Hola amigos y familia!!! Bienvenidos a la pascua!

This week was Easter and we had a really fun week! First off it´s really weird writing on a Tuesday! I love things here in bellavista and we are seeing some of the great works start to pay off. M-- B-- needs an interview with the bishop and she´s saved. Different hermanas need different things like Hermana M-- needs permission so that she can be rescued and Hermana L-- just needs two lessons. It´s amazing to see.

This week we got to go to the temple twice! Once with the ward and once as a mission. I love the temple and when we went as a ward we brought  about 10 people less actives and investigators so we had our hands full. I took a ton of pictures of the families but I don´t have my camera today, please don´t kill me mom! 

This week we also had hermana Marler leave and proselyte with us which was a blast! We are just working with all of our might! We have C-- who is still fighting for permission from his mom to be baptized and we have the hermana H-- who just needs to get married!!! She is amazing. She told us she´d take care of her marriage. And she does not want to wait a year to be sealed in the temple. Why do I have to wait? It was so funny. She really has grand desires to become a member of the church and enter the temple. It´s been a little hard to listen to some of the sickness and sorrow that happens here in the esperanza. Please keep them in your prayers they need your help! It´s been crazy this week with everything that has happened.

To finish the week, I sang in a choir and they took all of Sunday practicing and performing!!! It was crazy. I do not like not proselyting. It is not that fun.

So we may have some changes this week! We´ll see... I´m a little nervous. Ruh-oh. If it happens I´ll tell all of you!

To the rescue!!! RESCATES!

Hola amigos y familia!!! Que Tal?

We have had a good week down here in bellavista and we are loving the time we have with these wonderful people!!! Some bad news is that A-- won`t be getting baptized... his mom has completely disanimated him and thinks he will be a terrible member if he joins. We explained even if he fell the power of the atonement would lift him up! But he just had to many fears and doubts in his head.

But this week we`re going to rescue some less actives!!! We have the hermana M-- that will finish all the lessons this week, she and her daughter M-- will have their interviews with the bishop and will be faithful members! We also have hermana L-- who is the mother in law of H--. She just needs her lessons too and we should be able to teach them to her. But they said this week is a little difficult so we`ll see. And lastly we have the hermana M-- B--!!! She is amazing and has a ton of goals to be sealed to her husband(Who has passed away) and to her parents! She has all the lessons and just needs to talk to the bishop! She is so amazing. I can`t wait to see her after she has been sealed to her husband and parents!!!

This week I was put in a weird situation where this man was accusing me of just joining the church because my parents had money. I told him that I really knew that this church was true and bore my testimony of the book of Mormon. After he had a stunned look on his face and I could see that he felt the spirit. His mother then testified of Christ bearing her testimony that he was the Son of God, and really and truly was perfect in every thought action and word. This man is a less active that is now trying to persecute all religions. After that night he asked us to come back and talk, and we`ll see if we do. But remember this church is true.

Lastly we had a lesson with a couple who all their children are members of the church. They have Returned missionaries and children sealed in the temple and we started to work with them this week. We showed them in Mathew 3 and 2 Nephi 31 that we need to be baptized by immersion. They are deeply Catholic, but he admitted that he needs a baptism in this way.

Wow, it`s a lot! Love you all so much. Hope you have a wonderful week and that all goes well. The church is true. Be strong now and forever! The Book of Mormon is the best book ever!

I will not be writing on monday next week...sorry I thought it would be today

You can´t always get what you want; Unless you go to the temple!

First off the rollin stones where in Lima and so we got to listen to some nice music in the streets of la esperanza. Elder bailey and I are doing great and we are working as hard as we can. 

We have reanimated Alexis to talk with his family so that he can be baptized. He is 17 but he´s completely independent and living on his own. But not 18 yet so we still need permission. He´s amazing and I talked with him this week and asked do you know Joseph smith was a prophet, and he said well yes. So I told him if this is the true church and heavenly father has confirmed to you that it´s true I think you should try to become a member! He said he´s gonna work for it.

We also have Hermana M who is a saint. She wants to return to the church stronger than ever and is assisting institutes and reading every day in the book of mormon every day. We are talking wit
h the bishop so that she can have goals to be rescued. She just wants to be sealed in the temple with her 5 children that would mean everything to her and she´s really working hard in the church. It´s amazing.

One of the most spiritual experiences of my mission this week was talking to one of our new families this week. I was talking with the mom and she held her baby in her arms. I asked her if she´d like to be with her child forever. She just got the biggest smile on her face and said yes. She talked about how happy she would be to have the security that she´d be with her family forever. We then told her about the temple that´s here in hauchaco. Through the priesthood authority there we can be sealed!!! She became a lot more interested and the story continues!

I love you all so much! We are trying to work really hard to get some success here!

Oh boy...

This week has been really hard. Good news, don´t have any parisites and I´m actually starting to gain weight. Bad news, we´ve lost every single investigador or less active that we could´ve saved this week. 2 baptisms and 2 rescues went flying out the window for unknown reasons...the ward told us we aren´t allowed to know all of the details. We are still visiting them and giving them moral support, but this week was so hard!!! Everything we´ve been doing for a few weeks just went flyin out the window. But we had a bright ray of sunshine in it all.

We have an investigador who´s name is helen. Her mother in law is a less active member and they are going to be rescued and baptized. YES! It is amazing. She told us last time that she likes us in her house because she can feel the spirit really strong. She´s amazing. We´ve met with every church orginization and we´ve started a plan with the zone leaders called amos de la vina. You meet with every orginization and they help you rescue less active members in the ward. It´s amazing. Every orginization has picked diferent names and now we´re going to see if it works. We got a new young womens president and she´s awesome. She and her young women brought 3 less active members and an 1 who were all young women. They are really working hard and working with us. Success might just be coming our way!!!

Pics are from a paseo we took the other day. With all the elders from my district and after with Elder McKewan! He left for otuzko in the middle of no where last week so keep him in your prayers.

I love all of you so much and think you are all so amazing! Keep strong in the church and love the missinaries in your ward!!! Love you so much! I pray for all of you each day.
